A strong document package is complete, consistent, authentic and tied to the specific legal basis. Even an unnecessary document can harm if it creates a contradiction.
The core file
The starting file commonly includes travel-document details, evidence of lawful stay, the application form, photograph and the required service record. Confirm the exact list and format on the agency’s current page because category and filing channel make a difference.
The route-specific module
Work needs activity evidence; family needs civil-status links and the principal’s status; study needs the relevant institution; investment and property routes need the qualifying asset, value and title. Record which required fact each document proves.
Foreign documents, apostille and legalisation
Country of origin and document type determine whether apostille, legalisation or a treaty exception applies. Translation should cover the whole document, seals and annotations. Sending a scan does not necessarily satisfy a requirement for an original or duly certified copy.
Names, dates and identity
Differences caused by transliteration, marriage or an old passport should be connected through appropriate official evidence. A translator should not silently rewrite identity data. Build an identity table showing each name, document and link.
Pre-filing quality control
Check expiry, page completeness, signatures, dates, amounts and cross-document contradictions. Preserve an exact copy of the package actually filed and proof of submission. Agree a secure channel before sending sensitive material.
